Kitchen Makeover Process
Wood Veneering
Many original kitchen cabinets that are installed in new homes have photo finish side panels that are in essence contact paper that appear to be wood. Over time these surfaces fade and no longer match the cabinets. I apply 3M wood veneering to all the sides of the cabinets so when finished they have the same quality and look as the front.
Paint Process
All cabinet doors and drawer fronts are removed and sprayed at my paint shop. All work is cleaned and HEPA Vacuum sanded to provide a 99% dust-free work environment. All surfaces are primed and painted with two top coats. The paint that I use is Advance Satin by Benjamin Moore that provides a hard, glass-like, extremely durable finish.
The Finished Product
At completion, all door fronts and drawers are carefully reinstalled. The customer may choose to use the original hardware or purchase new. I provide customer the names of local contractors who install new countertops in Formica, Corian, Granite or Quartz.
